Rockport Fly Fishers
2010 Redfish Spot Tournament
Rules
Terry Deeds won the May contest with a double-spotted fish.
This month's token is a Key. The tournament begins Friday, May 28 and ends at dusk Thursday, June 24.
- Must be a member of the Rockport Fly Fishers Club to enter
- Monthly winner will be announced at each meeting
- Annual prizes awarded at the December meeting
- Fishing starts at 7:00 am the Friday following each monthly RFF meeting and ends at dusk each Tuesday prior the next monthly meeting.
- This is a catch and release tournament so the size of the fish makes no difference.
- No Entry Fee required.
- Fish must be caught on a fly using normal fly fishing techniques
- Fish must be photographed with all spots on one side showing in the photo. If any spots are touching they will be considered one spot
- The current month’s token must be included in the photograph. The token will be announced at the meeting and included on the website.
- Photos must be emailed to Carl at SVCaretta@yahoo.com
- You may submit as many photos as you want, but only one photo per category per month will be counted towards the annual awards.
- In case of ties the winner will be determined by the first photo email received
- Go fishing and have fun!
